Hydra are an enemy faction in the online superhero MMO, City of Heroes, they are a species of violent, mindless monsters that lurk deep under Paragon City as well as several swamps further afield.
History[]
The origin of the Hydra is largely unknown but it is believed they are the result of experimentation by the Rikti, who left them on Earth shortly after the war against humanity to sow chaos.
Hydra are horrible, amorphous humanoids that attack anything that strays near and gather in groups, the larger Hydra acting as primitive leaders to their smaller kin.
