Monster Huggy Wuggy

Experiment 1170 also known Huggy Wuggy is the main antagonist of the horror game Poppy Playtime's first chapter, A Tight Squeeze. He is a gigantic, monstrous version of Playtime CO.'s mascot and highest-selling toy, created as part of the Bigger Bodies Initiative. Although he appears as a huggable, friendly mascot, Huggy Wuggy is a dangerous, predatory monster who desires to consume the flesh of humans and kill anything he comes across due to being experimented on by the scientists at Playtime.

With his many sharp teeth, Huggy can easily devour humans. He is also very fast (as 19 miles per hour).

Despite being a barbaric and bloodthirsty creature, Huggy is not mindless. He is extremely intelligent and can formulate strategies against his targets (such as pretending to be a statue to fool the protagonist, and when he actively lured the protagonist deeper into the facility all the way in while stalking them.

Huggy is very flexible, able to easily fit his body into vents.

Appearance[]

Huggy Wuggy is monstrous beast version of playtime Co's mascot shown to be an blue enormous creature with incredibly long arms and legs, leaving him standing at a towering height of at least 17 feet. He has blue fur and many sharp teeth, on top of having another mouth inside of its mouth. He has yellow hands, red lips, and eyes that resemble googly-eyes. While seemingly a robotic creature, Huggy Wuggy's revelation of his multiple mouths, blood he produces when he falls to his supposed death and saliva in his mouth when he kills the ex-employee heavily hint at him actually being organic.

History[]

Experiment 1170[]

Huggy Wuggy was first created by Playtime CO. in 1984 as a toy for children. He soon became the most successful product of the company, which caused Playtime to create Experiment 1170: a living, gigantic monstrous version of Huggy as part of the Bigger Bodies Initiative, out of an orphaned child. be animal Cruelty monster

Protagonist's Arrival[]

Years after all employees disappeared, the sole survivor of the rampage, an ex-employee who leaved the company before the incident, gets a letter from an unknown sender, saying that the employees never left and they are still in the factory, wanting the protagonist to "find the flower." The protagonist enters the abandoned factory to find out how everyone within disappeared. As the player moves through the factory, Huggy can be seen watching and stalking them.

Huggy Death

Huggy falls to his presumed death.

After the player puts the toy from the Make-a-Toy machine to the scanner, a door opens. Right when they're going to move through, Huggy emerges from the darkness and chases the player into the ventilation shaft. Exiting the shaft, the player runs to a bridge, however, it's a dead end, blocked by boxes. Luckily, there is a box above. The player grabs it and smacks it into the bridge, causing it to collapse. While the player survives the fall, Huggy slips and falls into the abyss, colliding with some pipes, leaving his fate ambiguous.
