Happy

Happy (ハッピー Happī) is an Exceed from Extalia, a member of Fairy Tail and Team Natsu, as well as a main character in the story.

Appearance

He is a small blue-furred Exceed with a white belly. He has a rectangular-shaped head, with pink ears, large black eyes, small eyebrows of the same color, and light blue cheeks. His nose is triangular in shape; his body, rectangular in shape. Like all Exceeds, he possesses a body structure that allows him to walk bipedally unlike normal cats. Despite not having fingers, Happy has the ability to grab things. He has a long tail, with the final end white, and the rest blue. He can also use it to grab objects or things. Normally, he carries with him a green backpack, where he keeps food and items to use during battles. This covers the green guild mark. When he uses his magic, he can develop wings, similar to those of an angel, which allow him to fly and even carry others. He doesn't usually wear clothes. The only times he has been seen wearing it has been in Edolas, and when he has been shown on the beach, wearing a yellow swimsuit with a matching hat.

Personality

Despite his small stature and eccentric appearance, Happy is very loyal to his teammates and guildmates, and has extensive knowledge of the magical world, in some cases more than Natsu and Lucy. Since he has been with Natsu since he was born, he often imitates some of Natsu's behaviors and reactions.

He likes fish and hates dogs, except for Plue. He adds a comical touch with his catchphrase "Aye!". He has a strange attraction to those of his race (Exceed) and is excited when he learns that Loki is a lion. Happy has developed a great affection towards Charle, who at first treated him badly but later accepts him and offers him respect.
