The Ground Hawgs were a gang of mutant bikers who appeared in the Ben 10 episode Hole in 10.
Description[]
A group of diminutive humanoid woodchucks, the Ground Hawgs were the product of crazed scientist Dr. Animo's experiments. They wore generic biker attire, had what appeared to be bushy "beards" and drove motorbikes adorned with a multitude of spikes. Even while on their bikes, the Ground Hawgs were able to burrow quickly through the earth, but they were not particularly bright.
Why Dr. Animo had created them, and what purpose they were to serve, is never revealed.
History[]
After emerging through tunnels in the middle of a miniature golf park, the Ground Hawgs thought that the tiny buildings were a real human town built on their territory and proceeded to trash the course.
Unable to defeat the bikers during a prolonged battle in his Upgrade form Ben Tennyson, who had been at the park under protest with Gwen and Grandpa Max, managed to electrify the Ground Hawg leader while in his Grey Matter configuration. This caused the others to recognise Ben as their new leader, and he used this to convince the Hawgs rebuild the destroyed park better than new.
Afterwards, the Ground Hawgs disappeared back underground, and Ben hinted that he had sent them off to teach Dr. Animo a lesson.
They later return in The Bentathlon, after a long absence in Season 1 episode, Hole in 10 battling Ben, of which the Forever Knight has hired, but Ben uses Diamondhead to stop them.
