Grey Matter is one of the multitude of alternate alien forms gifted to Ben Tennyson by the Omnitrix in the Cartoon Network animated franchise Ben 10.
Description[]
Based on the Omnitrix's DNA sample of a grey, boggle-eyed Galvan from the planet Galvan Prime, Grey Matter is far and away the most intelligent of all of Ben's alternate configurations. Although standing only a few inches tall, his intellect can be a fearsome weapon for those unprepared to deal with it; for example, he is capable of scratch-building nearly anything from whatever parts and scrap happen to be at hand.
Physical Abilities[]
In addition, Grey Matter's skin is covered in hundreds of microscopic suction cups which allow him to stick to walls and even ceilings, and he secretes a kind of slime which makes him extremely difficult to grasp. His alien physiology also comes complete with gills, allowing Grey Matter to operate with equal ease on land or in water.
