The Glitch (also referred as (The Darkness) is the main antagonist in Learning with Pibby. It is a mass of dark, glitchy liquid that can attach to and absorb characters, transforming into mindless, glitchy zombies, including Bun Bun, who appears to play a more prominent role than other "corrupted" characters. Its origin and motives are still currently unknown.

The Darkness is a massive, sentient blob of pitch-black liquid surrounded by colorful, glitchy artifacts. Its presence is accompanied by an ear-piercing static noise, and its movement has its own, separate warbling tone.
