A Ghost Train charging toward the player (Lost in Vivo)
The Ghost trains are a type of ghostly abomination encountered in Lost in Vivo, an indie horror game developed by Akuma Kira.
Overview[]
They are hostile apparitions that have taken the form of monstrous subway trains, and they are only encountered briefly in the Grand Bulim Avenue train station.
Appearance[]
A Ghost Train appears to be nothing more than the front end of a subway train, heavily rusted and corroded, with the windows of the train plastered over with pieces of paper or wood.
However, the most distinguishing feature of the Ghost Train is it's large, lamprey-esque mouth. This actually comprises of the entire front end of the monster, and opens up whenever the Ghost Train lunges forward.
Behavior in “The Lost in Vivo” Game[]
A Ghost Train's appearance is preceded by an extremely loud, distorted train horn. The Ghost Train will then proceed to rush down the tracks toward the player, opening up it's huge leech-like mouth in an attempt to bite them. The metal front of the Ghost Train is especially resistant to damage, though the fleshy interior of it's mouth is vulnerable. An especially good weapon to use against them would be the Shotgun, as the Ghost Train's large form means that all the rock salt fired from the shotgun will hit it's target.
