The Ghosts are the main antagonists of the Pac-Man franchise.
History[]
Actually, they were references as Monsters in the arcade world, but were later called ghosts.
- Blinky: the red ghost, after Pac-Man eats a certain number of dots, his speed increased greatly. directly chase a Pac-man. His Japanese name is Machbuse (待ち伏せ) which translates to hunter.
- Pinky: the pink ghost, goes around the obstacles counterclockwise. It is considered to help Blinky. His Japanese name is Machibuse (待ち伏せ) which means ambusher.
- Inky: the blue ghost, He is not as fast as Blinky but he acts erratically so it is difficult to predict how he will react. His Japanese name is Kimagure (気まぐれ) which means capricious.
- Clyde: the orange ghost. He doesn't chase Pac-Man, instead wandering around without a specific route. His Japanese name is Otoboke (お惚け) which translates to bobo.
