General Chungus is a major antagonist of A Minecraft Movie. He is Malgosha's right-hand who also serves as the general of the Piglins in his aid to destroy the Over world.

Personality[]
In stark contrast to the cold and tyrannical Malgosha and the rest of the Piglin ranks, General Chungus is unusually friendly, talkative, and approachable. He displays a surprising degree of warmth and even forms a casual friendship with Steve during the latter’s time in captivity. His easygoing nature and reluctance to carry out harsh orders suggest he harbors doubts about Malgosha's ruthless regime, particularly when it involves harming those he likes.
Despite his affable demeanor, Chungus remains loyal to Malgosha, following her commands with minimal resistance—though not without hesitation or the occasional question regarding her motives. His conflicted sense of duty adds depth to his character, positioning him as more than just a mindless enforcer.
Chungus also has a quirky, youthful way of speaking, often resembling a teenager in both tone and vocabulary. He uses euphemisms like “unalive” instead of “kill,” which may reflect either his discomfort with violence or a lighthearted effort to soften his role in a story intended for younger audiences.
Story[]
General Chungus makes his first major appearance in the Nether, reluctantly carrying out an order from his mother, Queen Malgosha, to lead a brutal assault on Midport Village and eliminate Steve. Though visibly unenthusiastic about the mission, Chungus remains dutiful and commands an army of Piglins into battle.
During the raid, he confronts the human Garrett in single combat and quickly overpowers him. However, his victory is short-lived—an Iron Golem defending the village rises to the occasion and defeats Chungus, forcing a Piglin retreat and leaving the mission incomplete.
Despite the chaos he helped unleash, Chungus fails to accomplish his objective. Upon returning to the Nether, he is harshly reprimanded by Malgosha. When he dares to question the necessity of killing Steve, Malgosha reacts with fury. As a demonstration of her merciless nature and lack of maternal attachment, she commands the newly completed Great Hog to fire upon her own son. The monstrous machine obeys, mercilessly executing Chungus with a blast from its arm cannon.
His tragic end underscores the brutality of Malgosha’s rule—and serves as a grim reminder that no one, not even her own flesh and blood, is safe from her wrath.
