In the Cartoon Network animated series Ben 10, Gax was one of the alternate forms gifted to pre-teen hero Ben Tennyson by the alien artefact known as the Omnitrix. He was created from the DNA sample of an alien Chimera Sui Generis from the planet Vilgaxia.
Description[]
Standing at over twice the height of a fully-grown man and heavily muscled, Gax is humanoid in appearance with green skin and a beard-like growth of tentacles which sprout from his chin. He possesses high levels of both superhuman strength and durability, can transform his arms into extendable tentacles for grasping and crushing opponents, and has the ability to fire powerful blasts of concussive energy from his eyes. He is also extremely agile for a creature his size.
History[]
One of the later samples to be added to Ben's roster, Ben initially favoured his new alien above the others, but was something of a novice in his use of the form. He later met a mysterious old man named Vil who coached Ben in the nuances of his new body. However, Vil turned out to be an alien being with an ulterior motive, who stole the genetic sample from the Omnitrix and combined it with his own, restoring himself to his original form, that of tyrannical warlord Vilgax.
