The Gasbag is an alien species, appearing in Unreal, as well as the Invasion mode for Unreal Tournament 2004. It is unknown if the gasbag is native to Na Pali or an artificially created species serving the Skaarj. Gasbags are round in shape, being essentially little more than a head and arms, with several black eyes on the forehead. The arms are as long as the average human is tall. There is also a subspecies of Giant Gasbags, though these are extremely rare, with only two appearing throughout the story of Unreal and the Return to Na Pali mission pack. Giant gasbags are roughly two to three times the size of a regular gasbag. All gasbags are only capable of moving through flight, and appear from a distance to be rocks when at rest. They are also capable of launching flaming projectiles at their victim.
