Gabumon is a Child-level Digimon with Data and Vaccine attributes. It is a bipedal reptilian creature with yellow scaly skin and a blue belly covered with odd runes. It has red eyes and sports a sharp horn on its head. Most notably, Gabumon wears a fur pelt that covers its head, back and arms. The pelt comes from junk data discarded by Garurumon, Gabumon's Adult form. Not only does this pelt help protect Gabumon's body but serves to intimidate foes.

- Horn Attack - Gabumon jabs the opponent with its horn.
- Machine Gun Jab - A series of rapid punches.
- Drill Horn - Gabumon launches into the air and spirals towards the enemy with its horn extended.
- Blue Blaster - Gabumon breathes a line of blue flame.
- Claw Crush - Slashes at the enemy with the Garurumon claws on its knuckles.
- Skull Cracker - Gabumon drops down upon an opponent horn-first.

X-Antibody[]
When imbued with the X-Antibody, Gabumon becomes a Beast-type as it absorbs the data from the fur pelt it wears. Its timid, bashful personality has not changed, but once it wears its fur pelt, it changes to favour rough fighting styles and launching quick attacks typical of a Beast-type.
Black Gabumon[]
Black Gabumon is the result of a Baby Digimon growing up in a harsh environment or being mistreated, leading to it developing a Virus Attribute. Because of this, Black Gabumon is more aggressive than its Vaccine counterpart.
Black Gabumon has grey skin with a yellow belly and wears the pelt of a viral Garurumon, which is black with white stripes. While violent, it becomes timid if its pelt is ever removed and it will run away.
Abilities[]
As well as the abilities of its Vaccine counterpart, Black Gabumon also possesses the Ice Dash move. As it charges, it leaves a frozen trail on the ground that will freeze any foe that touches it.
