Freddy Fazbear's Pizza (translated as Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria), often shortened to Freddy's or FFP, was an American chain of family entertainment centers and pizzerias owned by Fazbear Entertainment, Inc that appears throughout the Five Nights at Freddy's series. It was founded in 1983.
History[]
First Freddy Fazbear's Pizza (1983)[]
In 1983, Henry Emily along with William Afton opened a new restaurant probably after the closure of Fredbear's Family Diner, their well-known animatronic animators being the first iterations of Freddy Fazbear, Bonnie, Chica, Foxy, and two Springlock outfits; Spring Bonnie and Fredbear.
According to Phone Guy]'s training tapes, the Springlock suits, despite being known to be quite flawed and dangerous, continued to be used until an incident occurred which consisted of multiple simultaneous failures of the suits in an unidentified sister location, causing the company to deem them unsafe and delist them.
Another The Missing Children incident occurred on June 26, 1985, in which William used Spring Bonnie in suit mode to lure two and eventually five children to the back of the pizzeria to assassinate them. Although he was caught, neither the children nor their bodies were found, so for lack of evidence he was released.
Second Pizzeria ( Five Nights at Freddy's 2 )[]
Years later, Fazbear Entertainment decided Reopen the restaurant. Using a new range of animatronics (Animatronic Toys), whose group was composed of Toy Freddy, Toy Bonnie, Mangle, Balloon Boy and Puppet. While the animatronics of the old installation (called Animolyric Withered in the game), they were used as spare parts for the new robots. For a few weeks, everything went well in the restaurant. FAZBEAR ENTERTAINMENT spends huge amounts of money to equip them with advanced mobility, sound interaction and a facial recognition system linked to a criminal database; All this not only to entertain the public, but also to protect children from predators as a top priority of the restaurant. After a few weeks, a "terrible" incident happened in the restaurant that was not really reported. The police took custody of the facilities for a few days, at the same time, the Toy Animoatronics began to act aggressively towards the staff, the adults in general, as they acted completely well with the children, but when they meet an adult they stayed looking at way Chilling Then, the restaurant was closed for a while and a birthday is celebrated on its last day. The Toy Animatronics were dismantled shortly after That birthday without any confirmed reason (it is believed that it probably was where it could have happened The Bite of 87). Later, an advertisement is revealed in the newspaper where it is planned to reopen the pizzeria very soon with less budget of the company and promising that the old animatronics would reothered.
Third Pizzeria ( Five Nights at Freddy's')[]
The Few remaining goods were used to repair and update the old animatronic people to more suitable and safe versions for the public. In this way, the restaurant reopens and stands once again an unknown time. The only attractions were the Animatronics Freddy Fazbear, Bonnie, Girl and Foxy; But the latter is out of service for not being finished. These robots would no longer be allowed to walk during the day as a precaution, being the night the only time when robots can walk freely. The restaurant is announced to close at the end of the year; Complaints to the health department about blood and mucus dripping from suits, as well as a horrible smell compared with resuscated corpses, supposedly the cause. In addition, the business had gone wrong and management could not find a buyer for the pizzeria, since nobody wanted to be associated with the name, so it did not give them another option than to close the place. Due to the incidents, the restaurant could not get a substantial amount of income. This resulted in the implementation of an energy budget at night. It is also for these reasons that the establishment was forced to close at the end of the year.
After the closing of the third pizzeria (Five Nights at Freddy's 3 )[]
Freddy Fazbear's Pizza closed at the end of the first game events; The building was completely abandoned along with the animatronic people inside, and the doors and other tickets had been blocked with wooden boards. In the mini-games of Five Nights at Freddy's shows how an unknown identity man (who turned out to be William Afton himself) managed to access the restaurant and even He managed to open the safe room of that establishment. Finally, the man managed to dismantle all the animatronic people present in the restaurant, using that room as protection, since the animatronic people did not have installed this room on their internal map. But, the destruction of the animatronic mannings released the souls of the children who persecuted their murderer to the same room, where he tried to hide with the old Spring Bonnie Suit, which turned out to kill him due to the old and rusty that the Spring was Locks. William was rottered in that room for 30 full years, until an unknown group decided Open an attraction of horror based on the macabre events that occurred in the pizzeria. This property was named after Fazbear's Frighting: The Horror Attraction, so the pizzeria is reopened in search of objects or items that may have survived the abandonment.
Novels[]
It should be remembered that the original trilogy of novels tells a different version of the original story, although they share or they can share certain similarities, they should not be taken as part of the continuity of the games.
After the closure of Fredbear's Family Diner, Henry Emily and William Afton decided to open another restaurant focused on animatronic entertainment, This time called Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. The main attractions of this new place were the Animatronics Freddy Fazbear, Bonnie, Girl and Foxy, although the latter seems never to be in service. They also saved the Animatronics of Fredbear's, possibly to see if there was any possibility of using them again or simply to store them somewhere. For a while, the pizzeria managed to gain great popularity in its local city. It was not until then a child called Michael Brooks (friend of Henry's daughter, Charlotte Emily) is attracted and allegedly murdered by a person dressed in a yellow suit. Throughout the months, it was reported from the disappearance of four more children in the same place. This produced a strong fall in Freddy Fazbear's Pizza's reputation, to the point that its owners decided to close the premises and put it on sale. The Animatronics, as well as anything else inside the pizzeria, were left to rot. At one time, they bought the premises and decided to build a shopping center instead. However, instead of demolishing the old restaurant, they began to build around and seal it completely to hide it from the public (obviously by the tragedies that happened earlier). Unfortunately, no merchant wanted to put their establishments there, because they felt like a kind of energy that would remover them. Due to the non-acquisition of merchants, they canceled the construction halfway and abandoned both the shopping center and the pizzeria inside for many years.
Incident[]
As mentioned above, the restaurant fell into a series of incidents that slowly led the company to ruin, either by the bite of the '87 or the incident of the missing children among other cases, which left footprint in The reputation of the restaurant. The accumulation of incidents, mostly deaths, caused the permanent closure of pizzeria in a unveracted year. Said the basics, the incidents were the following
The Bite of 87[]
Incident occurred in 1987. The phone boy described the matter as a scenario where the animatronic people could freely walk during the day, Interacting with customers to have a fairly effective entertainment system. However, something went wrong and one of the animatronics ended up biting the head of a person. The victim managed to survive the attack, lacking the frontal lobe and, as a safety measure, the animatronic people were no longer allowed to move during the day. It was never mentioned which of the animatronics was responsible, nor if the victim was a client or an employee. According to some tracks taken in the Games, the incident must have occurred around the week of the second game.
