Foxy (also known as Foxy the Pirate Fox is one of the five original animatronics from the games, used for entertainment at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. He is credited with owning his own attraction, the Pirate Cove, separating him from the main gang. However, this attraction, as well as its star animatronic, were always Out of Service for reasons that are not very clear.
He debuted in the first game as one of the main antagonists, later making more appearances throughout the series, to a greater or lesser extent. Due to the events presented in the story, multiple spinoff versions of Foxy's original design have been seen throughout the franchise, such as Mangle, Phantom Foxy, Nightmare Foxy, and many others.

As his name suggests (Fox, which means fox in English), Foxy is a large animatronic fox with a crimson color and ragged fur. He has a metallic hook on his right hand, and a dark eyepatch that folds over his right eye. He is usually seen with the latter over his eye instead of covering it.
Foxy wears brown linen pants that are specially shredded on the legs, the latter showing the endoskeleton legs.
He appears to be damaged, some of his machinery exposed through the cracks around his body. His chest is torn in places, showing the endoskeleton underneath him, his arms and stomach appear to be severed as well.
Like all other Fazbear characters, Foxy has a set of teeth. Foxy's teeth are quite sharp, being similar to those of a real canine, while the other animatronics' teeth resemble human-like dentures. It is also notable that, in keeping with the pirate motif, he has several gold teeth, and also appears to have some missing teeth. His muzzle and upper jaw are dotted on the sides with black dots, indicating beard stubble or invisible whiskers.

This version makes its appearance in Five Nights at Freddy's 2 for the first time, later making another appearance in Five Nights at Freddy's VR: Help Wanted.
FNaF2 - Hallucination Foxy without Eyes.jpg Foxy's outfit is even more tattered (dirty and torn) than in the first game and the hair on her left ear has totally come out. Her endoskeleton teeth are now highly visible. Notably, the design of her features are or have been slightly enlarged and are similar to the breaks in the re-design on Freddy Fazbear showing the upper arms of her endoskeleton. The hair on her lower torso is missing, revealing her endoskeleton.
Personality[]
As the title of Foxy's attraction would imply, Foxy's personality is that of a stereotypical pirate, often speaking in pirate slang, all with a pirate accent. One of his lines also suggests that he might be claustrophobic. According to an overgame screen in Five Nights at Freddy's: Help Wanted, Foxy is insightful and not easily fooled. Based on Freddy Fazbear's description of Foxy in Freddy Fazbear's Pizza Theme Song, it is implied that he is a loner, based on the fact that Freddy Fazbear sings about Foxy instead of Foxy singing about himself, which only helps try this.
As shown in Curse of Dreadbear, Foxy seems to notice how dilapidated he is when he warns the player to stay inside the ride. He also threatens the player that he will send them to "Davy Jones's locker" if they do wrong. His lines also sound like they're being played through speakers, rather than emanating from Foxy himself.
In Five Nights at Freddy's AR: Special Delivery, Foxy acts and speaks in a more aggressive, mocking, and belittling manner, seemingly enjoying tormenting the player. This shows how much of a sadistic approach he is willing to take.
