The Fishin' Boo is a recurring enemy from the Super Mario game series. First appearing in Super Mario World on the Super Nintendo, these foes resembled ghostly versions of Lakitu, riding around on clouds and sporting the same glasses and hairs as Lakitu.
Found in various haunted stages, the Fishin' Boo would fly around in a cloud and follow the player whilst holding a fishing rod. At the end of its line dangles an eerie blue fireball that the Fishin' Boo will try to swing into the player. Like typical Boos, Fishin' Boos cannot be defeated except with Super Stars.
