Kingler is a Water-type Pokémon and the evolved form of Krabby. Known as the Pincer Pokémon, it is recognized by the large, menacing pincer claw on its left arm.

When Krabby evolves into Kingler, it increases in size and the red colouring of its upper body takes on a darker hue. It develops six spikes across its head that resemble a crown and its left pincer becomes twice as large as the right. The left claw is as tough as steel and has 10,000 horsepower, making it capable of crushing the hardest objects. In the wild, Kingler tends to use its claws to pry open the shells of other Water Pokémon such as Shellder and Cloyster. Since its left claw is so big, Kingler often has difficulty moving it and can wear itself out quickly from moving its claw about too much.

- Crabhammer - Kingler's signature move; it pounds its enemy into the ground by bashing them with its massive left claw.
- Protect - Kingler's left pincer becomes so hard that it completely deflects an attack, preventing any damage.
- Bubble Beam - Kingler spews a rapid stream of alkaline bubbles that cause high damage to the opponent.
- Stomp - Kingler scuttles towards the opponent and tramples them with its four legs.
Gigantimax[]
In Gigantimax form, Kingler grows to an extreme size, its limbs grow longer and develop a series of sharp spikes. Its eyes glow red and it secretes an excessive amount of froth from its mouth, forming a white, foamy beard over its face. The foam that Gigantimax Kingler produces is a strong alkaline that will quickly dissolve anything it touches. Its left claw is so large and powerful in this state that it can crush and pulverize anything into dust.
