Zstylzhemghi, also known as The Matriarch of Swarms, is a Great Old One which appears in the H.P. Lovecraft-inspired Cthulhu Mythos.
Description[]
Whilst information on Zstylzhemghi is scarce, her epithet leads many to believe that she is some kind of monstrous insectoid creature. However, due to the nature of the Great Old Ones, her true appearance could be virtually anything.
History[]
Birthed in the green binary star system of Xoth, Zstylzhemghi is most notable for coupling with fellow Great Old One Ghisguth and conceiving the creature known as Tsathoggua. Legend does not tell if Ghisguth and Tsathoggua took Zstylzhemghi with them when they fled the cannibalistic attentions of the Outer God Cxaxukluth, and as such it is unknown whether she remains there to this day, or served as a meal for the hungry creature.
