The Labyrinth is a realm of torture and pain which plays home to the Cenobites in Clive Barker’s Hellraiser franchise. Although sometimes referred to as Hell, whether it is actually the Abrahamic version is open to debate.

Description[]

As it’s name might suggest, the Labyrinth is a vast multi-levelled maze of countless corridors, platforms and rooms. Impossible for those not from the realm to navigate, it holds innumerable souls under continual torment from its demonic denizens. What form this torture takes varies depending on the individual, but each one is specific to the person undergoing the process. Above the Labyrinth floats its “god,” the entity known as Leviathan, an enormous geometric shape which supposedly rules there, although what it actually does remains a mystery.

Initially described as merely a dimension in which pleasure and pain are indistinguishable from each other, the depiction of the Labyrinth has slowly changed over the course of the many films and comic books of the franchise to become a more traditional version of damnation.
