Bermuda Triangle, also known as the Devil's Triangle, Devil's Sea or Dragon’s Triangle, is a region of ocean in the north-western Atlantic Ocean, situated between Puerto Rico, and the American city of Miami (in the state of Florida). By joining these three points with an imaginary line, a triangle of about 1600 to 1800 km on a side is formed, and an area of approximately 1.1 million km

The term was created in 1953 by several writers who published articles in magazines about the alleged dangerousness of the area. However, the surrounding area, especially the coast of the Carolinas, was already known for its many shipwrecks to the point of being called "The Cemetery of the Atlantic" .1 In addition, large waves have been recorded in that area, which explains the fear generated by it.
