Machop is a Fighting-type Pokémon and the first form in the Superpower Pokémon family. Originally discovered in Kanto, it is marked as No. 66 in the National Pokédex.

Machop is a humanoid Pokémon with bluish grey skin, red eyes and three bony ridges on its head. It also has three rib-like stripes on either side of its chest, a short tail and no toes, though it has five digits on each hand. While short in stature, Machop's strength is not to be underestimated; its body is practically all muscle and it can lift several times its own body weight. It continuously builds its muscles day after day without tiring or cramping.

- Focus Energy - Machop concentrates its inner power, raising its critical hit ratio.
- Karate Chop - A fighting technique that inflicts moderate damage and can increase the user's critical ratio.
- Foresight - With this ability, Machop's attacks will be effective even against Ghost-type Pokémon.
