035Clefairy

Clefairy is a small pink Pokémon that was originally discovered in the caverns of Mt. Moon in the Kanto region. When first discovered, it was classed as a Normal-type Pokémon, but since the release of the sixth version of the Pokédex, Clefairy and the other members of this Pokémon's family have been re-classed as Fairy-types.

Pokédex Data[]

A bipedal, pink Pokémon with a vaguely star-shaped body. Clefairy has a large, curled tail, small clawed fingers on the ends of its stubby arms and brown marks on the tips of its ears. It is usually quite shy and rarely shows itself to humans. It resides within mountain caves and is usually nocturnal, coming out at night in groups to dance in the moonlight and going back into hiding when the sun rises.

Abilities[]

  • Double-Slap - Clefairy repeatedly slaps its opponent, dealing minor damage with each hit.
  • Disarming Voice - A charming cry that weakens the opposing Pokémon's resolve.
  • Moonlight - Clefairy uses the light of the moon to heal itself. Most effective at night.
  • Metronome - With a magical wave of its fingers, Clefairy performs a random attack. This can include any ability used by any and all known Pokémon.

Evolution[]

Clefairy evolves into Clefable through the use of a Moon Stone. It also has a pre-evolved form called Cleffa which was first discovered in the Johto region some time after Clefairy.
