Fiend is one of the three main monster protagonists in the children's TV show, Me and My Monsters, as well as its associated media (such as books), the monsters themselves were designed and performed by the famous Jim Henson company and follow closely in the design elements of Henson's well-known style of puppets (known as muppets).
While not entirely malicious Fiend is by far the most troublesome of the monsters, taking great pride in everything he does (to the point of arrogance) and often dismissing the feelings of others, though he (like all the monsters) has a good heart and doesn't seek to harm others intentionally.
History[]
Fiend, Haggis and Norman are three monsters who inhabited the basement of a home for many years, they frequently scared off any humans that tried to buy the property but eventually found a family they decided to "keep", this would result in a chaotic union between the family and the monsters.
While the monsters bonded quickly with the young son of the family named Eddie they frequently antagonized his father, Nick, due to their child-like nature (to the point they viewed Nick as their own adoptive father of sorts).
Fiend had especially high regard for Nick but showed it in very odd ways due to Fiend's own extreme ego and lack of understanding of other people's feelings.
Fiend also saw himself as the true "boss" of the house due to having been used to being the leader of the three monsters, despite this he reluctantly obeyed Nick and Kate due to their status as "human-parent-thingies".
