Fat Bandit

The Fat Bandit is a type of Emblem Heartless that appears throughout the Kingdom Hearts video game series. It appears very similar to the Large Body, sharing the same rotund, almost spherical shape. However, it is distinguished by the vest, curly shoes and turban that it wears.

Encountered in Agrabah, Fat Bandits appear alongside the shorter Bandits and Shadows. Fighting them can be quite challenging due not only to their size and the presence of other enemies, but also because the streets of Agrabah have very little room to fight in when compared to other areas.

Fat Bandits are hardy opponents as their huge bellies seem to deflect attacks. They attack close enemies by beating them with their large fists, but can also strike from a distance with fire attacks. Fat Bandits can breathe a stream of flame or spit fireballs to attack distant targets. Like Large Bodies, their fronts can deflect attacks but their backs and heads are vulnerable, although they can turn surprisingly fast. The best method of dealing with these Heartless is to attack from long range with magic, though they are immune to fire magic.
