Eevee

Eevee is a Normal-type Pokémon that was initially discovered in the Kanto region. It can be found in various regions around the world, though it is rarely seen in the wild. It has been known to thrive in almost any kind of environment and the type of environment it lives in may effect its evolution.

Pokédex Data[]

Eevee is a small mammalian Pokémon with four legs, brown fur and cute facial features. It has long ears that taper to a point, brown eyes and a tiny black nose. It has thick tufts of cream-coloured fur surrounding its neck and a fluffy tail with a cream-coloured tip. The tail markings for female Eevee are flower-shaped. Many people have debated on whether Eevee is feline or canine, though it may not be either.

Wild Eevee are known to be rather skittish and usually run away rather than fight. However, when caught, they quickly warm up to their new Trainers.

Eevee is known to reside in various types of habitat. Its unusual genetic structure is easily influenced by the environment, thus it is capable of adapting to almost any kind of habitat. Whereas most Pokémon will only evolve into a single new species, Eevee may evolve into one of many different forms depending on certain environmental factors, how it is treated by its Trainer, or exposure to specific minerals known as Evolutionary Stones.

Abilities[]

  • Tackle - Eevee strikes an opponent with the weight of its whole body.
  • Sand Attack - Eevee kicks up sand into the opponent's eyes, temporarily blinding them and making it harder for them to land a hit.
  • Helping Hand - Eevee lets out a cry of encouragement to an ally, boosting their confidence and attack power.
  • Baby-Doll Eyes - Eevee stares at the opponent with its adorable eyes, affecting the opponent's will to fight.
  • Quick Attack - Eevee tackles its foe at high speed.
  • Swift - Eevee scatters a series of star-shaped projectiles. This attack never misses.
  • Take Down - Eevee pounces on its opponent with all its might, inflicting damage but also receiving some as it tumbles.
  • Baton Pass - Eevee switches out, passing along any stat changes to the new combatant.

Gigantimax[]

Eevee-Gigantamax

When Eevee transforms into its Gigantimax state, it becomes larger and more fluffy. The fur collar becomes longer with several triangular tufts pointing straight up. The right ear has three red clouds surrounding it like a circle. Due to the fur becoming fluffier and more luxurious, any enemies caught in it will lose the will to fight due to being enamoured by it. Eevee becomes even more playful and rambunctious after Gigantamaxing, desiring to play with its opponent and often unintentionally crushing them with its size.

It should be noted that Eevee which can Gigantimax cannot evolve into any of their known evolved states.

Evolution[]

Eevee has more evolved forms than any other species of Pokémon. There are currently eight known forms that Eevee can evolve into.

  • Vaporeon - Eevee that live in coastal areas are likely to evolve into this form. Trained Eevee will evolve into Vaporeon when exposed to a Water Stone.
  • Jolteon - An Electric-type evolution. Wild Eevee may evolve into Jolteon if they reside near power plants and trained Eevee evolve into this form when exposed to a Thunder Stone.
  • Flareon - Eevee residing in high-temperature surroundings are more likely to evolve into this form. Trained Eevee will evolve into Flareon when exposed to a Fire Stone.
  • Espeon - A Psychic-type evolution. It is unclear how Eevee might evolve to this state in the wild, but trained Eevee that have formed strong bonds with their Trainers have been known to evolve into Espeon in the light of the sun.
  • Umbreon - A Dark-type evolution. Eevee that live in dark environments or are more active at night are more likely to evolve into this state.
  • Leafeon - Eevee that live in environments abundant in plant life are more likely to evolve into Leafeon. Exposure to a Leaf Stone will also trigger this evolution.
  • Glaceon - Eevee that live in cold, icy environments are more likely to evolve into Glaceon. Exposure to an Ice Stone will also trigger this evolution.
  • Sylveon - An Eevee that has learned a Fairy-type move, whether naturally or via Technical Machine, may evolve into Sylveon at a time when it shows deep affection for another.
