Eeries are ghostly dinosaur enemies that appear in the various Ghost House stages of Super Mario World. They appear is pale blue reptilian ghosts with dark-blue spines on their backs, crooked arms/fins, and a ghostly tail. Their eyes always appear to be closed.
In the Ghost Houses, Eeries will either move straight forward or in wobbly lines. They do not change direction and they cannot be harmed. While Mario can spin-jump on top of an Eerie, he will just bounce off. The only way Eeries can be defeated is with a Super Star.
