The Omnitrix's genetic sample of a Petrosapien from the planet Petropia, Diamondhead is one of the many different alien forms available to Ben Tennyson in Cartoon Network's animated franchise Ben 10.
Description[]
A heavily-built humanoid being, as his name might suggest Diamondhead is made from an extremely tough yet flexible diamond-like organic material.
Powers and Abilities[]
Due to the nature of the substance which composes his body, Diamondhead has an extremely high degree of natural durability along with the ability to regenerate limited damage and an incredible amount of raw physical power, although not not to the extent of Ben's other form Four Arms. In addition, he is capable of forming portions of his body into simple shapes such as blades, clubs or shields to assist him in combat. He can also shoot smaller versions of these blades from the palms of his hands to allow him to engage enemies at range. On top of all of this, Diamondhead can create constructs made of crystal to aid him; for example, he can use these constructs to replace missing vehicle parts such as wings, use them to plug holes or breaches in containers, or to encase enemies in a glassy prison. This particular ability can also be employed to create a "slide" of diamond along which he may travel, in effect giving Diamondhead the power of flight.
Weaknesses[]
Although astonishingly difficult to damage, Diamondhead's body structure is not without its limits, and sufficiently powerful blows have shown to be capable of cracking his crystalline form. He is especially vulnerable to sonic attacks, whose vibrations have the potential to cause him to shatter.
