Dewgong is a Water/Ice-type Pokémon and the evolved form of Seel. It is numbered #087 in the National Pokédex.

The Sea Lion Pokémon Dewgong thrives in cold climates. Its body is covered in snow-white fur, rendering it virtually invisible in snowy conditions. It has two large black eyes, a button nose, two small tusks extending from its upper jaw and a small horn atop its head. It has two flippers on its body and one on the end of its tail.
Dewgong lives on icebergs adrift in frigid ocean waters. It thrives in lower temperatures, becoming increasingly more active the colder the weather gets. By storing thermal energy within its body, it is completely unharmed by even the most intense freezing weather. During daylight hours, it sleeps on bitterly cold ice or under shallow water. However, at night when the temperature drops, it becomes a hunter and searches for prey. One such prey is Wishiwashi.

- Aurora Beam - Dewgong fires a ray of rainbow-coloured light from its horn. The chilling touch of this beam reduces the target's ability to attack.
- Aqua Jet - Dewgong shoots through water like a torpedo towards its foe, inflicting moderate damage.
- Safeguard - Dewgong generates a mystical aura around itself that prevents any status ailments.
- Ice Beam - A beam of intense cold that inflicts high damage and may also leave the target frozen solid.
