Denji is the main protagonist of the dark fantasy and horror manga and anime series Chainsaw Man. Originally a normal human being, Denji worked under the Yakuza as a Devil Hunter but after being betrayed by a the Zombie Devil, he died and Pochita turned into his heart, resurrecting him and turned him into a hybrid known as the Chainsaw Devil

Human form[]
As a human, Denji is a teenage boy with blond and scruffy hair. He has sharp teeth for unknown reasons. His eyes are yellow brown and has bags undernath which resulted in a dazed and tired expression. His body is in a scrawny condition with portruding ribs due to the malnutrition in his childhood. Prior to becoming a hybrid, he had a missing right eye and several organs, which were subsequently restored after his fusion with Pochita.
Hybrid form[]
If his chainsaw cord is pulled while he has enough blood for the transformation, his head morphs into a demonic, mechanical shape with long and jagged fangs and a chainsaw handle on his back. His forehead has a large chainsaw and other chainsaws emerge from his arms, which he is able to retract and extract any of them at will.
