Dedede Stone is a one-shot antagonist in Kirby: Right Back at Ya!. He appears in Episode 8 "Curio's Curious Discovery".
History[]
Dedede Stone's only appearance occurs in Curio's Curious Discovery. King Dedede, finding himself cornered when his deception regarding the origins of Cappy Town is exposed, reveals to everyone the Dedede Stone, which transforms from a simple artifact and begins to grow, destroying the archaeological site and chasing the fleeing inhabitants. Curio, the only one left apart from Kirby and his friends, decides to face the monster with a pickaxe, but it is difficult to get close to him given his colossal size. Tiff stumbles following a seismic shock caused by the steps of Dedede Stone who tries to crush her while she is still on the ground, but Meta Knight blocks the attack in time. Aware that the knight risks being crushed, Tuff urges Kirby to inhale the Dedede Stone, but to no avail. Curio intervenes and hits the monster with fragments of rock that allow Kirby to knock down the monster with the Stone Ability obtained and save Meta Knight. Dedede Stone gets up and uses his hands to crush Kirby, who frees himself and thanks to the Warp Star reaches his head, destroying Dedede Stone with a single sharp blow.
