The Dazzlings are a trio of villains who appear in My Little Pony: Equestria Girls. They would also make irregular appearances in other My Little Pony stories in their alternate Siren forms. While appearing as teenage girls at first, they are in reality timeless demons that feed on negative emotions.
The Dazzlings are individually known as Adagio Dazzle, Aria Blaze and Sonata Dusk.
History[]
The Dazzlings are in reality a trio of evil demons from the distant past of Equestria who fed upon negativity, much like the similar demonic beings known as Windigos. The Sirens would be banished to the human world (Earth) to spare Equestria from their evil deeds.
For many years (presumably centuries) the Dazzlings would remain on Earth and plotted a new rise to power, which they would put into action during a battle of the bands. Posing as a trio of teenage girls, they planned on using the concert to feed upon the student body and take over both Earth and Equestria.
However the demons were too confident of their own powers and severely underestimated the strength of Twilight Sparkle and her friends, who would use their own music to combat the Dazzlings, forcing them to reveal their true demonic forms as they attempted to destroy the group.
In their Siren forms, the Dazzlings were able to temporarily overpower Twilight and her friends but once again found themselves defeated by their own inability to understand love or friendship, with Sunset Shimmer taking to the stage and helping to strengthen Twilight and her friends, allowing them to utilize the Elements of Harmony to free the crowds from the Dazzlings' spell then destroy the Sirens, leaving the Dazzlings as permanently depowered humans.
