The Darkside is a type of Pureblood Heartless that appears as a boss in several Kingdom Hearts games. It is a large, demonic humanoid creature whose body is as black as night; it sports many wild tendrils upon its head as hair that wrap around its neck like a scarf, a pair of short wings on its back, and a gaping, heart-shaped hole in its torso.
Abilities[]
The Darkside towers over humans and attacks by creating shockwaves when it slams its fists into the ground. It opens up pools of darkness in the ground from which Shadows will spawn to attack the player. The Darkside can also fire blasts of energy from the heart-shaped hole in its abdomen and throw orbs of dark energy into the air which will explode into multiple energy fragments that rain down on the player's party.
Weaknesses[]
Darksides have no particular weaknesses to any type of magic attacks. Their vulnerable points are the head and arms; the arms will hang low to the ground and after sufficient damage is dealt, the Darkside will drop to a knee, lowering enough for the player to attack the head.
