The Dark Blogg is an aquatic creature that appears in Metroid Prime 2: Echoes. It is a Blogg that has succumbed to Ing possession.
In terms of appearance, the Dark Blogg has darker skin than a regular Blogg. It also has several long quills extending from its back and tail, indicating its possession by a Warrior Ing. Behaviour-wise, the already aggressive Blogg has become even more violent, attacking everything that enters its field of detection.
Like regular Bloggs, the Dark Blogg's weak spot is its mouth. Due to being possessed by Ing, it is weaker against light-based attacks.
