DORUmon is a Child-level Beast Digimon of the Vaccine attribute. Its form appears to be mostly feline, but it sports a blunt, elongated face like a dinosaur and has tiny bat-like wings on its back, indicating it may be some type of dragon. It is covered in light-purple fur with white paws, muzzle and belly. It has a long, fluffy tail, yellow eyes and pointed ears. On its forehead is a triangle-shaped device called a Digicore Interface.
DORUmon is what is known as a Prototype Digimon, a creature that existed before Digimon were originally discovered. Using the Interface on its head, it can reconfigure the data stored within its Digicore. The data that is said to have been hidden within the deepest parts of its Digicore during an experiment is the potent life-force data of the legendary beast, the "Dragon", and it is said to have the potential to grow into a mighty Digimon.
Also classed as a Combat Species, DORUmon possesses tremendous fighting potential. It will bark and bite at almost anything, though it is known to become strongly attached to something after biting it.
