Cloyster is a Water/Ice-type Pokémon and the evolved form of the Bivalve Pokémon, Shellder. It can be found in oceans and coastal areas all over the world.

Cloyster's body is shaped like a large black pearl that sports a smirking face. Its body is contained within a dual-layered bivalve shell that protects it from all outside hazards. The shell is said to be harder than diamond; nothing can break it, not even explosives. It also cannot be opened by any outside force.
Cloyster's shell is covered in numerous spiky protrusions to deter any potential predators from attacking it. These horns can even be shed and launched as projectiles using the same systems that allow Cloyster to propel itself through the water.
Abilities[]
- Clamp - Cloyster closes its shell on its opponent, steadily crushing the life out of them.
- Spike Cannon - Cloyster fires the spikes on its shell in volleys, striking its enemy multiple times in one attack.
- Protect - Cloyster closes its harder-than-diamond shell, becoming impervious to incoming attacks.
- Spikes - Cloyster sheds the spikes on its shell, dropping them like caltrops across the battlefield.
