Clown was a monster seen in the 2012 fantasy-horror film The Cabin in the Woods.
Overview[]
One of the many monsters who were held by The Facility to take part in The Ritual, like all of the other monsters, it was held in a transparent prison until needed. During the events of the System Purge, a clown is seen stabbing one employee of the facility in the stomach. The Clown is apparently impervious to gunfire, as he is shot by another security guard several times, to no effect. What became of the Clown after the Ritual failed is unknown.
The Clown was summoned through the use of the fortune-telling machine.

- Although referred to as The Clowns on the betting board, only a single Clown appeared in the movie.
