The Clincher is a bizarre Blue variant from the anime series Blue Gender. Appearing only in the series' eleventh episode "Go Mad", the Clincher is the smallest of all Blue types, only reaching 6 feet. It earns its name by its ability to grasp onto the bodies of deceased humans, using its limbs and antennae to hijack the nervous system and essentially use the body as a vehicle and a weapon to attack other humans. It also possesses an uncanny ability to attach itself to man-made power sources and drain energy from them. The creature's head is also its core, making the head its weak spot.
