The Chop Goblins are a race of malevolent demonic goblins who act as the titular villains of the comedy-horror first-person-shooter game of the same name. They are named after the fact they mostly carry cleavers and are obsessed with chopping up anything (or anyone) they happen across.
History[]
The Chop Goblins early history is unknown but at some point they were captured and sealed within a box at a museum. There, the malicious monsters would stay for many years, until an unwary protagonist accidentally disturbed the box and freed the Chop Goblins upon the world once more.
Upon gaining freedom, the Chop Goblins went on a rampage across town, killing anything they came across and menacing the protagonist, who hunted them down with a gun and dagger. However, things would only get more chaotic as the Chop Goblins managed to capture a magical Aztec Time Manipulate Device from the museum and with it began to go on a rampage across time and space.
The protagonist would pursue the Chop Goblins, gaining an ever-changing arsenal of weapons and power-ups by which to defeat the monsters and prevent them from destroying the world, though the Chop Goblins in turn continually evolved their own weapons and tactics.
