Chargin' Chucks are a burly variety of Koopas that are recognised by their unique attire: American football gear. These athletic Koopas have only appeared in a handful of Super Mario games, beginning with Super Mario World on the SNES.
Due to their helmets and padding, Chargin' Chucks are tougher than most other creatures of the Koopa Troop. It takes three stomps from Mario to dispatch one, but certain items can take them out in just one hit, such as a Koopa shell or a Bob-omb. Typically, Chargin' Chucks will attack Mario by charging at him, but they can use a variety of tactics such as throwing footballs, baseballs and rocks, jumping and even bursting out of the ground.
