The Charger is a type of Special Infected that appears in Left 4 Dead 2. It is often regarded as an underdeveloped Tank as it has one overly muscular arm that is out of proportion with the rest of its body. The Charger's mutation has left it with half of its torso and its right arm overgrown with expanded muscle tissue, the arm appearing almost rock-like with the appearance of tough scab tissue covering everything from the elbow down. The creature's left arm, however, has atrophied, becoming limp and useless.
Unlike the Tank, the Charger still has the full use of its legs. It will attack by rushing at survivors and slamming them with its massive right arm, sending the victim flying and separating them from the rest of the group.
