A Ccoa is a type of divine beast found in the mythology of the Quechua people (who include a wide range of South American cultures, including the famous Inca).
In the contexts of the myths a Ccoa is a large feline with incredible powers, such as urinating rain, generating lightning from their eyes and causing both solar and lunar eclipses.
A Ccoa can fly at ease and when angered will spit hail, while often destructive they were not universally evil but rather would do as they pleased, often an offering made to them would appease; they were seen as the pets of the Apus (mountain deities who protected mankind) and were usually described as female.
