Trench Crusade is a setting created by Mike Franchina and Taumas Pirinin, and owned by Factory Fortress Inc. Set in an alternate timeline where, during the First Crusade, the Knights Templars discovered an ancient demonic artifact hidden in a secret vault deep beneath the holiest of temples, renouncing their oaths to Christ and serving the forces of Hell. This led to a conflict lasting several hundred years. The year is currently 1914, and whilst the Great War is ongoing as it did in our timeline, it is now a war between the Faithful, the semi-united forces of Christendom and Islam, and the Heretics, those who have given themselves over to their unholy patrons.
