Characters from the vastly popular Super Mario franchise, which is one of the world's most well-known and prolific video-game series of all time. As well as the Super Mario series itself the franchise includes numerous spin-offs such as the Yoshi games, as well as the infamous Wario franchise. While Donkey Kong also shares its origins with Mario, it is often treated as its own franchise these days, though they are all connected to the larger Nintendo shared multiverse.
