Soul Stealers

Creatures that are primarily concerned with obtaining the soul of others, often via methods such as pacts or temptation but also sometimes via dark magic or unique abilities, this trait is especially prone to demonic entities but is also a common theme among especially greedy sorcerers and magic-users such as necromancers or liches.

Once a soul is stolen the creature may use them to power themselves, feed upon or trap the souls in an extra-dimensional prison such as Hell (an especially common variant of this are creatures with the capability to drag a victim to Hell or some other nightmare-realm).

This can also be used to refer to dangerous types of spirits or undead who "spirit away" victims, often adding the victim to their ranks (for example the Sluagh or several variants of ghostly parades across the world).
