Parasites

Monsters that survive by leeching power or nourishment from other lifeforms, for sake of simplicity we also include parasitoids in this category (a parasitoid is a specific kind of parasite that not only feeds on a host but actively kills them, while parasitoids are relatively rare in nature they are very common in fiction, especially in regards to monsters, due to the body horror aspect of such creatures).
