Characters and concepts found in material that is widely considered Mature. This is content that involves a great deal of controversial content such as excessive violence, drugs, sexual themes or other material likely to offend. It is not simply a place to put characters from media rated teen plus, as it is a lot to do with content versus actual rating (ratings can vary immensely from one country to another): good examples of Mature content are adult-comedies, slasher-style horror films and gore-based media.
