Devils

Demons of the highest order; living incarnations of pure evil. Devils are infernal creatures, similar to demons in nature but often more concerned with the capture and torture of mortal souls. As such, they tend to be more methodical and cunning. It is the Devils who most often make pacts with mortals, tempt people to sin or act as malicious genie-figures, since they tend to be more capable of hiding their true intentions until it suits them.

Despite this, Devils are still, ultimately, a type of Demon, thus tend to be extremely evil and cruel entities who seek to enslave and torment those they come across. Devils also tend to be capable of ruling over other Demons (some powerful Devils even rule other Devils) . The highest of Devils can even be considered near godlike in scale and influence, especially within their home reality, which tends to be hostile and hellish, just like other Demons.
