The Bloodshot is a humanoid bio-weapon created by Umbrella that appears in Resident Evil: The Final Chapter. How precisely this creature was engineered is unknown, but was most likely created by injecting an Undead human with an altered strain of the T-virus.
In the last day of the Global T-Virus Pandemic, Alice, Claire Redfield and a handful of other survivors ventured into the Hive in order to retrieve an airborne anti-virus that could cleanse the T-virus from the Earth. Controlling the facility's defences was Albert Wesker, who opened a trap-door beneath Alice's feet that sent her and Michael plummeting down a shaft into an abandoned laboratory. There, they were attacked by the hulking Bloodshot creature which bit off Michael's head. Alice was able to distract the Bloodshot by tricking its infra-red vision with her flashlight. She then managed to wrap a chain around the monster's neck to restrain it and plunged a blade through its chin, stabbing its brain and killing it.
Abilities[]
The Bloodshot possessed superhuman strength, able to easily trample victims, tear them apart or crush them with its powerful jaws. It could only see in the infra-red spectrum, sensing heat signatures which it would pursue relentlessly. The softer tissue of its lower jaw was its weakest point which Alice exploited in order to kill it.
