The Belly Button Eater is the main antagonist of the 78th episode of Ed Edd n Eddy.
Biography[]
According to Jonny, Belly Button Eater was a huge ghost with one big eye who stomps its way for a victim to literally gnaw his/her belly button off his/her stomach. The ghost appears to love the thrill of the hunt, enjoying seeing how long its prey able to escape its grasp before inevitably cornered throughout the chase. Whereas Jimmy was frightened by the story revolving Belly Button Eater, Rolf was fascinated instead.
The story about Belly Button Eater turned out scared the Ed, Edd, and Eddy as much as Jimmy, so much that the trio eventually reduced into traumatized wrecks when seemingly encountered the ghost for real (though it was really disguised Rolf). Outraged to see the Eds scared his friends and ransacked their camp, Rolf ordered Jonny to help Jimmy as he set out to teach the three a lesson. Inspired by aforementioned story, Rolf disguised himself as the predatory Belly Button Eater to scare the trio with a great effect, starting from Edd who was capture off-screen, then Ed who wind up stuck in a trap consisting a net, a hole, and a flinging log, and then finally with Eddy. The plan succeeds, and the Eds left traumatized by the supposed encounter for the next three days.
