The Bell Witch is a reported demonic entity which has since gone on to become one of the world's most infamous ghost stories and paranormal events. Like all reported hauntings, it is also extremely controversial, but unlike many others, is extremely well documented, even if the actual events have long been lost to the depths of history (and hence become a part of folklore).
