Beelzebub, also known as Queen Bee, is a one-shot character in Helluva Boss. She is a demon with the appearance of an anthropomorphic wolf-bee hybrid. She is a party girl, sociable and empathetic, who cares a lot about the well-being of others and about not hurting other people's feelings and thanks to her blood powers she is able to understand if a person is really happy or not; she loves to organize parties and is loved by all the inhabitants of the Ring of Hell that she governs. She is Vortex's girlfriend and immediately becomes friends with Loona after he introduces her to him. She embodies the sin of Gluttony.
Biography[]
Loona takes a taxi to a beehive-shaped building where she is welcomed by Vortex. The latter invited her to her party, attended by both her imps and hellhounds like her, to let her socialize and make friends. Loona feels out of place, also because among her guests there are those who recognize her and make fun of her by calling her "Lunatic Loona"; She feels offended to be called that way but to avoid causing problems she doesn't say anything to Tex. The party comes to life when Beelzebub, known as "Bee", the Deadly Sin of Gluttony of that group, enters the scene singing and filling the room with all possible delights; at the end of the show Tex introduces Bee to Loona as his girlfriend, upsetting Loona, who has a soft spot for him, but immediately makes friends with Bee. Unfortunately, her disappointment in love is stronger than her so she decides to leave the party and go home and calls Blitzø to come and pick her up and he, seeing her phone, immediately rushes to the scene. But as he is about to leave someone recognizes Blitzø and asks them both to stay and although hesitant Loona also asks to stay; what was supposed to be "just a drink" for Blitzø turns into a real competition to see who drinks the most, making Loona proud of him for the first time, so much so that she challenges the reigning champion Bee to see who drinks the most an entire barrel of his personal supply. Blitzø impresses Bee and they are crowned the winner, but when she throws herself into the fray of the party Bee and Tex sense that something is wrong. The two take Loona aside and ask her to check on her father because he is causing some problems and could get hurt, also Bee has sensed thanks to her powers that Blitzø is not having fun like the others but rather he is destroying himself . Loona gets defensive and verbally attacks Bee, who claims that she can't know anything about other people's suffering given how much she is loved, who gets angry and the two are about to come to blows but seeing Tex's reaction, Loona apologizes and goes to check on his father who is making out with another demon. Realizing that she has crossed the line, she picks him up and takes him home, but not before saying goodbye to the friends she has made. At home he lays him down on the sofa and Blitzø, still drunk, cries about what his old friend Fizz told him and about the fact that he will die alone. Loona promises him that she will be there and after covering for him she goes to her room. Immediately afterwards Blitzø vomits Bee's drink feeling better.
